Freedom Recovery Centre is a Registered Rehab facility in Gauteng. 

We do offer all of the following services included in monthly program fees: 
*Registered Social Workers 
*Registered HPCSA Counselors 
*Addiction counselors
*Occupational Therapist
 *Psychologist Groupwork sessions, 
*24-hour Medical facilities
*Twelve step work,
*Healthy meals and 
*Accommodation
* Arts and Crafts Projects
* Family Support and Counseling

Additional professional help for dual diagnosis Patients: 
* Psychiatrist on weekly basis 
* Psychologist, individual and group sessions. 

Medical Aid clients:
Recovery Centre offers Medical Aid Patients p to SIX WEEKS Free of Charge. Thus, the patient is welcome to complete additional weeks instead of 21/24 days only. The Extra time after the three weeks may be at the halfway houses in Nigel, but will still follow classes on daily basis, depending on progress and availability of space.

Cash Programs:
3-week program for R18 000 incl. Detox Fee.
6-week program for R21 000 incl. Detox Fee.
12-week (3 Month) program for R30 000 incl. Detox Fee.
24-week (6 Month)  program for R63 000 incl. Detox Fee. 

Payment Breakdown:
Detox Fee: R3 000 (once-off) 
Monthly Fee: R9 000
Total payable on Admission: R12 000

Detox fee of R3000 includes:
* Doctors visits,
* Detoxification 
* Starterpack 
* Laundry Contribution
* Recreation event etc.  

Additional Costs not included:
* Mandatory Monthly Recreation Fee of R200.
* Drug Tests.
* Pocket money. Pocket money can be provided at the sponsor’s discretion. Money to be used at the Tuck Shop. 
* Toiletries. No Toiletries are allowed to be brought into the centre. Staff will purchase from the Tuck Shop and local Dischem. 
* Gym Supplements. No Gym Supplements are allowed to be brought into the centre. Staff will purchase from the Tuck Shop
* Additional Psychologist / Psychiatrist visits.

* Additional Medication. 

R9000 per month too much to fit into your budget? We are Contracted with Medifin, a finance group assisting you with lower monthly cost. Talk to us for more information.

Halfwayhouse program  
Freedom Recovery Centre also offers halfwayhouse facilities where one can stay at the secondary facility while studying or looking for work. Classes are also presented with supportgroups and sessions on daily basis.

Our Program

Objectives and Values of the program at FRC Private Rehab:

In-Patient Program Details:

Freedom Recovery Centre Consists of a Multi-Disciplinary Team working hand in hand with the family, the addict and everyone affected in the addicts’ life – To help and assist the Resident towards Socio-, Psychological and Spiritual recovery of residents. Our holistic program is based on the following key components:

Intensive Care Program: Assessment and Support

       First 21-days as prescribed by Medical aids:

  • Orientation 2 Days: (Please note Freedom Recovery Centre is not a detox facility. We make use of Hospitals for detoxification)
    • Sessions available with Medical Doctor (GP)
    • Counselling, Observations from medical fraternity, 
    • Introduction of program objectives & rules
  • Clients will participate in Group sessions conducted by:
    • The Occupational Therapist – 3 x per week
    • Psychologist – 2 x per week
    • Registered HPCSA Counsellor – 2 x per week
    • Professional Registered Nurse – 1 x per week
    • Registered Social Worker Groups – 2 x per week
    • Twelve Step Program – 3 x days per week
    • Spiritual Groupwork – 2 x per week
    • Family Group Therapy – during the second and third week
  • Clients will participate in Individual sessions conducted by:
    • The Occupational Therapist – 1 x per week
    • General Practitioner – 1 x session
    • Psychiatrist – as requested from Medical Doctor
    • Psychologist – 1 x per week
    • Registered HPCSA Counsellor – 1 x per week
    • Professional Registered Nurse and Medical staff – Available 24 hours.
    • Registered Social Worker – 2 x per week
    • Twelve Step Program Leader – 1 x per week (assistance with step work)
    • Pastoral Counsellor – as per own request
  • Help and assist residents in understanding him/herself in a holistic approach
  • Assist the resident in building a stronger character and conduct in the resident.
  • We do believe in the importance of psychology as God has ordained it to be- 
  • Individual Counselling, in the life space of the resident as well as in a more structured way are crucial in the recovery of the resident.
  • Class / Group participation is compulsory as this is part of the program
  • Recreational activities
  • Attendance of Art and Craft Classes and Project Work in the afternoon must also be participated in
  • Sport Sessions in the afternoon from 4pm to 5pm
Continuative Care Program: Free additional In-patient program for Medical aid clients. 
  • Clients will participate in Group sessions and Daily Classes (10:00 till 13:00) and consist of:
    • The Occupational Therapist – 3 x per week
    • Psychologist – 2 x per week
    • Registered HPCSA Counsellor – 2 x per week
    • Professional Registered Nurse – 1 x per week
    • Registered Social Worker Groups – 2 x per week
    • Twelve Step Program – 3 x days per week
    • Spiritual Groupwork – 2 x per week
    • Family Group Therapy – during the second and third week
    • Emotional Healing
    • Health and Nutrition
    • Sober Living
    • Family Group Therapy – on an ongoing basis.
  • Clients will participate in Individual sessions conducted by:
    • General Practitioner* – on request 
    • Psychiatrist* – as requested from Medical Doctor 
    • Psychologist* as per request
    • Registered HPCSA Counsellor – 1 x per week
    • Professional Registered Nurse and Medical staff – Available 24 hours.
    • Registered Social Worker – 1 x per week
    • Twelve Step Program Leader – 1 x per week (assistance with step work)
    • Pastoral Counsellor – as per own request
  • Strong emphasis is put on the importance of continued education.
  • Class / Group participation is compulsory as this is part of the program
  • Light work responsibilities 
  • Recreational activities
  • Attendance of Art and Craft Classes and Project Work in the afternoon must also be participated in (Two hours per day).
  • Sport Sessions in the afternoon from 4pm to 5pm
  • After completion of the Intensive Care program, residents are encouraged to focus on further Education and training via Correspondence Courses e.g. Hospitality, Small Business enterprises, Travel & Tourism, Catering etc. (Own cost)
     *If not approved by Medical aid, at own cost
